Every year, "Haus der Jugend e.V." offers young people the opportunity to complete their service as part of the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or the Federal Volunteer Service (BFD) at the youth hostel.
For the front desk
The main responsibilities of a receptionist
– Greeting guests and handling
check-in and check-out procedures– Assisting guests–
Answering phone calls–
Managing the front
desk– Providing guests with
information about the local area and attractions
Reception duties are performed during early and late shifts on weekdays and, of course, on weekends as well.

For the kitchen
Your main responsibilities in the kitchen:
– Assisting our chefs in preparing all meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) as well as catering for the conference area–
Washing dishes, tidying up, and cleaning–
Ensuring quality–
Adhering to kitchen
procedures– Complying with hygiene regulations
Shifts are scheduled for early and late shifts during the week and on weekends.
We have immediate openings for reception and kitchen staff.
