Traveling by bike?

It’s not just the bike ride to Frankfurt — for example, along the Main Cycle Path, which runs right past the youth hostel — that’s fun: thanks to sustainable and smart transportation policies in recent years, exploring the city itself has also become much easier. As a general rule: You ride safely on the wide red bike lanes along the main thoroughfares through the city, and with mutual consideration, all road users get through just fine. Nevertheless: Please ride carefully and yield when in doubt — so you can return to the youth hostel safely and relaxed.

Your bike will be safely stored overnight in a covered, lockable area. You can dry wet clothes and gear here. We have the right tools for minor repairs. For major repairs, there’s a bike shop just around the corner.
