For our
safety
No smoking or open flames anywhere in the building!
Smoking and the use of any substances that produce smoke are prohibited throughout the building. Smokers are welcome to use our outdoor areas.
For everyone’s safety, any handling of fire or open flames is prohibited throughout the building. This also applies to the use of aerosol cans outside of restrooms (e.g., deodorant, hairspray, etc.).
Anyone who negligently triggers the fire alarm system through cigarette smoke or other handling of smoke, fire, or aerosol cans (smoke detector on the ceiling) or intentionally tamper with a fire alarm must bear the full cost of the fire department response automatically triggered as a result (currently approx. 800.00 euros) as well as any necessary repair costs.
Cooking and reheating are not permitted
For safety and hygiene reasons, the preparation of hot food and beverages is not permitted.
Closing times
Our facility is closed from 2:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
Personal responsibility for personal belongings
During your stay, you are responsible for keeping your personal belongings safe and secure. Valuables may be left at the front desk in exchange for a receipt.
For our community
Bedrooms are places of rest
Please avoid making noise on the guest floors and in the stairwells. The shared bedrooms are intended solely for relaxation and sleep. If you’d like to socialize, you’re welcome to spend time in the common areas on the ground floor, on the terraces, or in the courtyard.
A good night's sleep
Quiet hours are from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. During this time, electronic devices that play loud music or other sounds are prohibited!
Prohibition of Alcohol and Drugs
Bringing in alcohol or drugs of any kind is strictly prohibited. Guests who are intoxicated may be asked to leave. The Youth Protection Act applies.
Your stay
Bedding & Towels: Please return
The beds will be freshly made upon your arrival. We ask that you strip the bed upon departure and place the linens and towels we provided in the laundry bins provided on the ground floor.
Protecting Our Inventory
Please take good care of our equipment. Markings, stickers, damage, or excessive soiling will result in additional charges, which we will bill you for.
No pets allowed – exceptions for service dogs
Pets are generally not allowed. Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome with prior notice.
Sort waste and conserve resources
Youth hostels are committed to environmental protection and conservation. That is why we ask you to sort your trash or avoid generating it altogether, and to use energy and water sparingly.
House Rules
We reserve the right to enforce our house rules. In urgent cases, we reserve the right to enter the rooms to enforce our house rules and take necessary action. Guests may be asked to leave in the event of serious violations of the peace of the premises.
